What is QB syndrome in football?
It's an American football thing. Everyone loves the backup Quarterback more, and rate him higher than thetfacts suggests one should, when the starter isn't playing well.

Edit: I see you were being sarcastic. Fair enough :)

Fair points.

When put the way you have, I have to agree. Perhaps I misread a lot of the ''we miss him' to mean he'd have solved our problems at LB had he not been injured. My point was simply to suggest that has yet to be proved.

But I agree with t everything you've wrote, so my misstatement.

And a fair point it is too.

Too right I'm being sarcastic. If you choose to support City and write on here fair enough... But we don't play soccer or American football here so please, no more pivot, QB or soccer bollocks in refering to our beautiful game.

My apologies man, I meant no offense. Next time I'll have a better defense for my claims. Especially when talking about such a special team. :)

he's going to be under alot of pressure when he returns...to perform as required ,@ the meat & potato's end of the season..we will soon see if he has a career with us, or ..maybe just in social media..

What's the matter with the term pivot? If our terminology didn't change from time to time we'd still be talking about three-quarter backs and half backs....

Can’t wait to have him back, all the lads who’ve deputised for him have done a good job on their own way but when he’s on his game he gives us an extra dimension.

Better change that to 'defence' or you'll be on the naughty step again...

BTW it was called 'soccer' quite a lot in England 'back in the day' - association football to distinguish it from rugby football. This 'only Americans call it soccer' nonsense is relatively recent.

I prefer it to defensive midfielder or holding role to describe Fernandinho, them terms are almost insulting to him given what he does.
