He's getting better. He played a great pass into Aguero in the first half when he was under pressure on the byline.

Caution, however, he looks to me like he’s becoming less anxious with his distribution and therefore more relaxed. Can’t wait to get Laporte back to match fitness as this will undoubtedly kick Mendy on again!

One week bambi on ice, the next something along the lines of the player we saw for Monaco.

Today again he was the latter.

It’s why he should of been given the benefit of the doubt before he was hung out to dry.... those injuries could of finished a number of players and even if he does come up short, he gets credit in the bank from me for his sheer determination to come back!

Im as guilty as anyone of hanging him out which ive never really done but some of his performances sent me over the edge.

Much much better of late though.

Poor ****.

Some of the shit he got from the Kippax was shameful.

Yup, from a lad who bleeds blue, still there on a Tuesday and Thursday, helping out in the academy and does it for free I believe??

I always remember him having the balls to step up against Gillingham to take a pen, hardly the sign of the shitbag tag those dickheads on the kippax would shout!
