He's doing anything to come back to fitness and is very motivated. So what's the point?
LB doesn't seem to be a big issue.
In bringing back Angelino we bought time for Mendy to return without any rush.
That's best case after severe injuries.
Minimize risk and come back patiently.
Look how Gundogan has developed. He didn't make the mistake to jump around and fly into tackles
like some old school 80s fans have been suggesting.
Zin and Angelino should do well and Mendy can comeback when it's time.
In case of a setback what could we say? Wouldn't be his fault.
Hope he is smart and comes back well.

2 seasons,20 something appearances,he has 2 titles and cups to his name,it's a joke
It's a joke that he's castigated for things that are beyond his control, it's more than a joke in fact, it's absurd.

I'm not commenting on his inj just making a point that it's a joke that he has all that on his CV and the world cup when he has barely played,of course he can't help being injured,it's not personal

Yeah he's shown glimpses of what he can do. In the last two seasons, he has 6 assists in just 17 appearances. For comparison, Walker has 7 assists in 65 appearances. Obviously they are asked to do different things but it just illustrates how lethal he could be for us if he can stay fit.
