He is not playing well for me. Passing sloppy all game. Was better 2nd half overall but when he isn’t going forward and adding anything to the attack then his contribution is pretty average.
 
I jut don't think he'll make it. Feel as confident when he's with ball a with Lescott and Mangala. Just doesn't look comfortable on the ball.
 
It’s not just his ball retention, his defensive positioning would be called out at my granddaughters under 11 team.
 
At least people are starting to realise it’s not “rust” anymore. That was the early season way of explaining Mendy’s performances. He’s just not very good.
 
Elephant in the room - this guy isn’t good enough.

He’s a shadow of the player we saw at Monaco.

The injury has killed all his attributes and we need a replacement Jan/summer
