Nothing against Mendy, but I don’t think he’ll be here next season.

Not just tonight, but I just don’t see what he brings to the team.

He is no Zinchencko. But we always knew that. He is in for the whipped in crosses and overlaps.

Didn't see as many of those today.

Can’t see anyone buying him. Too risky. We
Will end up paying 90% of his wages and loaning him out. Left back continues to be a problem area for us.

Remember that Gundogan took well over 6 months to start really playing well. Mendy is looking miles below his old level but hes only started 4 league games since coming back.

It might well be March before hes back to his old self even if everything goes to perfectly and hes not lost anything from the injuries long term.

Can you see it happening based on what he has shown so far? Passing should be a given for a top footballer. I just don’t see it coming good for him and without his crosses (one over hit today) I dont see what value he brings.

He doesn’t seem to do the basics, doesn’t seem particularly aware of what’s going on, appears slow in body and mind and apparently we bought him for his crossing but that seems hit and miss

Delph and Zinchenko are better, at least they recognise their own weaknesses. Might as well play Angelino, at least he can run

Thinking he's done. Can't see how more game will turn this around for him.

Sell him for what we can in the summer and bring in someone new.
