Blimey that's a bit of an over reaction. I doubt he'll be out al season whatever he's done. Fingers crossed anyway.
Go and read Pep's comments it looks like he is.

On the bright side, he'll have more time to devote to his squad morale boosting duties while he recuperates. What a shame. Not only crucial to our system but his personality clearly boosts the morale of the squad. The only positive is that we'll probably reinforce the position in January which is something we needed to do anyway.
On the plus side Gundogan is back, another player who is a pivotal part of how Pep wants to play.
I wouldn't worry too much about the money. The problem is going to be finding a suitable replacement.By the sounds of it minimum 6 months possibly the season. The club's who have decent LB's will be rubbing their hands, we'll get rinsed as everyone knows how desperate we are.
We signed Gundogan with a broken knee cap and could hardly have been surprised when he soon did his cruciate.
50 million down the drain if he's out for the season and then the new Kompany/Gundogan in terms of being crocked for future seasons. Now we'll need to spend more big money in January on a left back.

We're doomed, I tell ye!Problem is EVEN if Delph can cover, he's as injury prone as the Komp's, Gundy etc.
