Doubtful as it was his fault he got locked up for breaking bail conditions. I'm guessing he's not a Mensa level intelligent bloke.

Also the behaviour he testified to in court alone would constitute massive breaches of his contract, let alone any kind of “bringing the employer” into disrepute from the arrest and prosecution.

Three trophies in three seasons and the semi finals of the Champions League shows Pellegrini wasn’t too bad at all.

Wilf also then caught malaria which is an extremely debilitating illness. His performance after that dropped off, although I’ll never forget Sevilla away

I’d have thought if Mendy is cleared of all charges he’d have a claim against the Crown… he’s had his career ruined and has lost his income as a direct result of the charges they brought and the fact he was placed in prison for part of his bail - preventing him training.

Pellegrini absolutely never got the respect. In case we forget the EPL Manager of the season for 2013/14 was…….Tony Pulis!!! His crap Crystal Palace side finished 11th and were quickly knocked out all of the Cups. That twat Alan Pardew denied Mancini of the EPL Manager of the season in 2011/12 by finishing 5th with Newcastle…….but Tony Pulis…WTF!!

He’ll have no claim against the Crown, as there is no readily available cause of action against public authorities: Judicial review, breach of statutory duty, misfeasance in public office all have a very high threshold to establish, never mind win a claim - and consciously so. The establishment looks after its own.
