Benjamin Mendy - City lose case and Mendy awarded £11m in back pay (p168)

I wish him well. Loved seeing some of his bullet crosses at City..
Not sure why some on here dislike him so much as a player...yeah he had his problems..injuries, lifestyle, but when he was on song he couldn't be caught and was as direct as you will see.
I agree though his career did nosedive and his unprofessional attitude to his City career through his social life cannot have helped. But I'm not sure he's alone in that as lots of pro footballers follow the bling and totty.
Anyway the quiet life in Brittany should be good for him. Attractive and smart traditional women their. I hope he meets a nice lady, settles down and has a nice family. Get rid of the hangers on and pay off your mortgage Benjamin.
A terrible deal for City in the end. Makes a mockery of the statement that we only buy players with the right temperament. He certainly slipped through the net but City can't be perfect in everything they do. A lesson learned hopefully.

That equates to the first four games of his City career.

So thankfully then, like me,you have erased Aleksander Kolarov from your mind, well done
Kolarov, away at Southampton (Mane hatrick) , put in quite possibly the worst defensive display I’ve seen
Saw his arse because he knew he wasn’t going to be selected for the RM semi later that week
Mendy at Wolves was bad, but that was incompetence, Koarov was fuckin shameful throwing toys out of the pram

He wouldnt even be the best left back in my house, and I play cricket and as a younger man front row rugby

The truth is I should have put Bobby McDonald, but didn't want to confuse the younger followers, but that's more closer to the truth,we have had some right shit in that position for decades,as a natural positional player anyway, and still to this day is the same

The majority of perpetrators of sexual violence happen to be white.

I'm not trying to discredit your article I haven't even read it, but I had to respond to tell your statement is meaningless.

Seeing as over 80% of this country is actually white, then what would most (even at 51% of them) being white really prove here? Given population statistics it'd extremely shocking and actually beyond scandalous, if the majority of those guilty of sexual violence weren't white.

If the statement was anything other than white, then the bigots could genuinely feel completely justified in their views, they'd feel they've backed it all up with statical evidence.

Also worth baring in mind that a figure of 1% is often quoted as the approximate number of sexual assaults that end up with a conviction.

So any stats. on the demographic of those convicted may not automatically reflect that of actual assaults.

I wonder what went wrong. Probably his personal security the poor lad. Where there is money their are sharks. It might be a good idea for some very wealthy pro football players to invest a little of their dosh in a socialising consultant. Or better still just think.

The main thing that went wrong was he got an injury that kept him out of virtually the whole season. And never looked close to been the same player when he did come back.
