I followed the first trail (not the second) and in several cases the evidence against him seemed very suspect - sure the transcriptions are online at MEN site - if you wanted to review and determine for yourself

Especially as their ace reporter Gary Gobshite was snubbed by Mendy when trying to be a smartarse, and interrupt his solicitor when making her statement.
Anything which pisses Sky Sports off is fine by me.
