Can’t remember that but using a plane tracker isn’t the same as vouching for somebody’s character.

Mendy was a brilliant talent when we bought him but has turned out to be a shocking signing. Injuries didn’t help.

If he is acquitted then why does he need to turn his life around if he’s not guilty?

Because even if he’s not found guilty, he’s making some questionable life choices that appear to be following a pattern.

Rape cases are notoriously difficult to prove and the fact the CPS charged him on 9 different counts with separate women would certainly make me think he may not be someone I’d want dating someone I cared for.

I actually think the way we handled his criminal issues was good PR for the club. We delt with it impeccabl, some of the media seemed gutted with that.

If the lad is totally innocent, then I do feel for him. If he’s not, then he’s been a very lucky boy.
If the remaining charges are dropped, he should be allowed to get his career back on track, but not here In the UK.

That’s a bit harsh on someone who so far has been cleared of all charges brought against him that they’ve tried.

Mendy was probably stitched up, it didn’t feel at all right that nine women agreed to go home with him and were subsequently abused. I’m not exonerating him here, if he was guilty of one attack it’s still one too many but it does feel like this saga was played upon for financial gain.
