You obviously know more than what you've told us mate,seems it's all about the fee and we are in a standoff over it maybe not the £40mill being quoted but looks like Monaco holding out for far more ..
 
If you were a Monaco fan, wouldn't you be pissed off that one of your players is posting the sort of crap on Social media that Mendy is. I can't work out if he's trolling City fans or Monaco fans.

Honestly don't have time for Monaco fans. They are enjoying the trolling and hitting back at Blues about Mendy staying and posting pictures of fans buying Mendy's new shirt and posting the training pics.

In a relevant note, Bakayoko seems to be done for €45M and will be announced Friday after Chelsea produce another cringy video.

If he really was coming imo you'd expect City (and Monaco too possibly) to ask him to keep a low profile on social media until everything was sorted.

I suspect we'll get Bertrand and someone out of the blue.

Why Bakayoko has been acting the same way and trolling chelsea and United fans before his move. Just have to understand that's how this particular group of young players act before their next moves.
 
Something about this transfer seems off. Mendy's social media hints without the club briefing that the transaction is expected to be completed very soon strikes me as the player messing about rather than him signaling a move. If City really have been working on this since early spring we clearly know Monaco's price already; that we've supposedly been close now for weeks without resolution seems to me more a hesitation on their part whether to sell the player at all rather than a structuring/add on's situation. Or they decided that they don't actually want to sell if not for a vastly increased fee than was first quoted, which we would then pass on.
