Naive way of thinking. Players may be impressed with different things, different visions and plans. Maybe someone courted the player for a lot longer and they value that.

Mendy is quite active on social medias. The fact that he didnt post anything is a good sign. If he was on holiday he would probably posted anything at this time like he did in Paris on the bick. If he is in Manchester he cant post pictures, Ederson had to remove his picture fast after the slip on Instagram. The longer he waits to post anything the better are the odds that he is in Manchester.
