Would we really go after both of their starting fullbacks? Mendy needs to be our No1 option.

Saw an article earlier quoting L'Equipe stating that we're not meeting Mendy's wage demands and the rags are now in pole position.

Any truth to this? I was under the impression we were nearly over the line with this one.
 
I suspect this is more about pushing the point with Spurs that we won't be taken for mugs and have other options. Still think it'll just be Mendy and perhaps Fabinho. We need to think about home grown and Walker will help with that as with Clichy and Hart going we're left with just Stones, Sterling and Delph aren't we ?
 
We are probably interested in Sidibe, but we'll only make a move if we don't get Walker. Opposite reason that Spurs are interested, they'll only make a move if we do get Walker.
