IIRC sports visas are dealt with differently+ Tottenham were touring the us as well weren't they? He might already have One.
In the end though money talks, just look at the new "fast track immigration" for the us when you fly there from Abu Dhabi. Doubt it'll be that hard!

If that back 4 stays fit it would very quickly become the best in the league. My only gripe with that though is it relies heavily on Kompany staying fit.

Not very long it's a simple visa.

You don't need a visa if from UK (and assume France) for a short visit, just and ESTA, which you have to get 72 hours before you arrive in States. You usually have to fill out a Visa waiver form.

Unless there are some special rules for playing football but it's just another form of business trip and you don't need a visa for one of those.
