Will tick a lot of the boxes for Pep, very easy to see why we would be interested.
‘Very underwhelming’ was mentioned on here many times when we bought Dias.
Much better suited. An Ake but on the right side.Better player for the new system? Pep and Txiki will have a plan and it seems the what we have known traditional fullback is now done and dusted and Pavard is better suited?
It’s like we aren’t allowed to look at the players themselves. “They also said bad things about Akanji!” So we’re not supposed to discuss anything concreteI told everyone Dias was going to be a fucking beast. Does that mean I'm allowed to say Pavard won't improve us at all?
In fact, with Walker on the way out, I'd say it's a fairly large downgrade.
Don't you know that the fact that 1 player has exceed expectations, that means every player will from now on and you are not allowed to think a transfer is terrible?I told everyone Dias was going to be a fucking beast. Does that mean I'm allowed to say Pavard won't improve us at all?

Askyourself why we might want to consider that exchangeAsk yourself why bayern want to replace him with a 33 year old Walker.
Exactly, mate. I don't understand the negativity of some on here, flap flap flap. From available players out there, he is literally the perfect replacement. A brilliant player at the right age, with the right experience, statistics speak for themselves, a starter for France and Bayern. He wants to leave, and he would fit our new system perfectly. He is no Kyle Walker, but no one is, and Kyle wants a new challenge. Pep knows best, and Pep wants Pavard.Better player for the new system? We didn't - we clearly wanted to keep walker. he refused.Askyourself why we might want to consider that exchange
And is that not the same for Pavard? We didn't - we clearly wanted to keep walker. he refused.
We'd only swap for Pavard if we think he's a suitable replacement. We didn't - we clearly wanted to keep walker. he refused.
Come on, what does Txiki and co know? They should ask our own experts over here for advice. We'd only swap for Pavard if we think he's a suitable replacement.
So what now? Who in the market is the right profile that suits us and is actually attainable? We can only make 100m exceptions for cases like Gvardiol. And as you said, Walker is the one who refused and wants to go. What can we do other than replace him with what’s the best suited option on the market. We didn't - we clearly wanted to keep walker. he refused.

It is so easy to negate the level at which City operate on the pitch. Makes total sense they’d go for a profile like this yeahThe only lesson here is once again Pep and co understand players need a certain pedigree to perform at our level. That’s why we don’t elevate Academy kids or loanees to replace senior names or very rarely sign players who haven’t proven themselves at a certain competitive level. No matter how much that is suggested here
