Bayern fans rate him highly. His profile fits City like a gloveSurely not. He’s awful. We saw that first hand last season.

His stats are phenomenal. He is a regular starter for France, Bayern, and a serial winner. He is the best available Walker replacement out there. Only 27. He fits our new system more than Walker does too. I don't want Kyle to leave, but this guys would be great for us.
Ake had always been a very good 1-1 defender even before joining Man city.Would he have 9 months ago? That is the point. Ake is a different footballer under Pep. If you want a fair comparison you have to compare Pavard to the Ake we bought…not the Ake Pep developed.
Pavard and Akanji aren’t that much alike. Plus, Stones is going into his new role next season we that leaves us thin on the right if Walker goes. Pavard is a fantastic player for our system. Cheap too.Ake had always been a very good 1-1 defender even before joining Man city.
And Ake was 25 years old when joining.
Pavard is 27.
Although it is not a big age difference, I don't see much reasons in doing so.
Akanji is also 27. I don't see why we buy a player with similar profile and same age as Akanji. A younger talent or a different skill-set player makes more sense.
