Rice cost 105, Bernardo will go for 70. Age matters.By that logic we should have offered Bernardo Silva + 40m to Chelsea for Mount. I mean his younger, right?

Quality and athleticism shines regardless of age. This obsession to offer quality mature players plus cash for substandard "younger" players is deeply rooted in some childish Playstation football transfer market logic and I don't buy into it.Rice cost 105, Bernardo will go for 70. Age matters.
Let Pep know...
You don't fancy Pavard?I suspect it's correct :(
Don't argue with the Fifa kids mate. They love shiny toys. "Oh look some young player throw Bernardo and 60m and sign him quickly!!!"I remember you posting similar comments on Kalvin's thread last summer.
You don't need to act like a twat just because someone doesn't agree with you.
I think tolmie is a married man .You don't fancy Pavard?
I did too. And I think Pavard would be an adequate replacement
Time will tell, I guess, but I'm not even sure if I'd consider him a direct replacement.
But then I guess that gets us into the whole conversation of whether or not we even need a direct replacement. I'm leaning towards Pavard being too similar in profile to Akanji and Stones for it to be worth it.

Why? Because apparently you were the only person who could see Dias would become a beast, as if we signed him from non league lol. So surely pep and co would need to know that you can spot a player. Good or bad.Why would I?

It's not about agreeing with me. It's about acting like Pep and Txiki don't know a good player from a shit player.I remember you posting similar comments on Kalvin's thread last summer.

You didWho told you that?
which way are you leaning then?If there is one thing I've learnt from the bluemoon transfer forum, it is not to trust posters opinions of players ability, they are almost always wrong!
Gvardiol/Gomez/Lewis/Pavard can all play up and down full back if needed, doubt they will though. Pep loves the extra body to let the front 5 try things more.If that was our defensive lineup for a game tomorrow then I'd be more than happy with it.
But I think over the course of a season there's a lack of dynamism and versatility there if we need to switch our system and/or move to a different formation. Just seems inflexible.
