I'd pay Sunderland £1.5m for them to take him. Never understood why we bought him in the first place and if it wasn't for the goal at the swamp no-one would be bothered in the slightest.

Us buying him gave Redknapp the money to go for Defoe, why the hell we didn't just get Defoe I'll never understand unless we tried and he didn't want to move up north.

I'll take that as were not in for any strikers then.

There was a clause though where we had to pay as mich again if he completed a number of games. I think it was 75.
