Berlusconi on Pep, Balotelli and City

I'd assume a manager like Pep is bright enough to be adaptable, and his results in the Champions League suggest he is.
I think the appointment of Sorry & Cheeky presages the arrival of Pep at some point, I'd have much preferred Jose if Mancini falls off his trajectory.

He already has fallen off his trajectory ;-)

Never ever thought I'd hear you talking Jose up...Haha

I dont think there's a cat in hells chance our CEO will go for Mourinho in the event Bob gets peddled- they very publicly turned him down for the Barca job before they gave it Pep.

People need to realise that Mancini doesn't win the league or FA CUP he's gone. Pep is out there and has a better relationship with our 2 new hires than Mancini ever could. Hiring him is seen as a no brainer

I love Mancini but business is business

Let's hope your wife/partner doesn't have the same love as you eh!!

It's not the first time that Bunga Bunga Berlu has intimated that Pep is going to City, or that it's due to our two new executives. Wouldn't surprise me if both Mario and Mancini ended up at AC this summer.

In terms of the relative merits of Pep ... I've said before that I don't think he's given enough credit for what he achieved at Barca (not just in the first team). He may well have Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta, but so did Rijkaard. If anything when Pep came in the dressing itself was a bit of a mess. From a footballing perspective it's well documented that although Barca pre Pep were easy on the eye when they wanted to be, they certainly weren't the unplayable team that they are now.

The City connection will continue to get talked about until he takes a new job, that's no surprise. What will be interesting will be if the talk intensifies, how Mancini deals with it.

Are you bracing yourself for an "Arsenal Away" moment Billy? No alcohol and no cybering until Monday night now, promise?

Every cloud has a silver lining Jonny ... so no, I'm not in the least bit worried about Sunday. Anyway, this Arsenal team isn't as good as last season's and I suspect we'll turn them over.
