I'm no longer watching league games and while it breaks my heart to be missing out on City I'm not daft enough to waste my time watching something which is no longer a sport, it's an entertainment product

So if they accept points a to f, why are they suspending him and telling him he needs to be educated?

The FA bring anti-racism into disrepute. It's not about not talking and recognising different appearances, but discrimination on the basis of colour. Two different issues. That is precisely what the media did with Sterling for years.

"Racially insensitive" is the charge? That's a bit bitter than "racially offensive", I still think they are giving a lot of Liverpool and United fans more credit than they deserve for being able to understand what that means.

Remove the word racial and nobody is confused, nobody stupidly says "I was right, it was racist" and gets to tar him with that brush.

The picture that Mario tweeted was actually an anti-racist image that someone had modified with a negative racist stereotype at the bottom. I think it's fair to give someone posting that in his second language the benefit of the doubt that he didn't mean it offensively.

Because you can still do something wrong even if you didn't realize it was wrong at the time? Every one of us has done that. And it explains why he would need to be educated on the issue.

Meanwhile back at the England training camp Raheem Sterling is the only side to be punished in a squabble between players
 
If I was Bernado Silva I would refuse to accept this , I would ask the club to back me & if they didn’t I would hand in a transfer request , he is being branded a racist , this will stay with him for life . Some things are worth more than football & his reputation is one of them.
Personally if I hadn’t already packed in football I certainly would now .
 
The FA have today issued the following statement regarding Bernardo Silva.
Bernardo Silva has been suspended for one first team competitive fixture, fined £50,000 and must complete face-to-face education after admitting a breach of FA Rule E3.

The Manchester City midfielder’s social media activity on 22 September 2019 breached FA Rule E3(1), as it was insulting and/or improper and/or brought the game into disrepute, and constituted an “Aggravated Breach”, which is defined in FA Rule E3(2), as it included reference, whether expressed or implied, to race and/or colour and/or ethnic origin.

right i just quote the reason they punished silva and its about being a racist to somebody of and/or colour and/or ethnic origin and has to do a face-to-face education classes

manchester city and silva should not take this and appeal the fine and punishment
