Anyone remember that BBC documentary called ''Football Stories'' that was on four or five years ago behind the scenes of football? It followed Jermain Pennant and his agent, Steve Claridge when he was managing Weymouth and also followed David James when he was moving from West Ham to City. There was an episode where James met with Bernard Halford (in his flat cap) to sign his contract....they met in an airport.....the contract signing was in the children's restaurant area on tiny, brightly coloured tables and chairs...one of the most surreal things I've ever seen.

We fucked a bunch of them off out of our seats. None of them seemed to have legitimate seats.
