So just a guess then...It is not aimed at the PL or the referees though is it. I get why people would wish to believe that. But is aimed at fellow players and/or the manager or both.

Or they are physically and mentally drained from 4 full on seasonsI hope they do give a fuck.
For the last ten years we’ve had players, a team, and a squad that do give a fuck, hence why City have won so many trophies.
However, I think there are some players who have possibly thrown in the towel as they aren’t getting regular game time, and are happy to train and to collect their wages.
Different context when it’s not divided up for click bait“You learn a lot of new things,” said Silva. “In the bad moments you learn new things. Who you can go to war with, first of all. Because it's in the bad moments that you see who the real ones are. And a lot of things that were good for us to not take things for granted, for our fans, for the club. And yeah, don't lower our standards.”
“I know we've got people used to winning every year,” said Silva. “And people demand this team to win every year. Football is a tough sport and it's not easy to beat these teams, especially in the Premier League. Like today, this team has a lot of individual quality. If you go and look around teams in the Premier League, all of them have two, three players that are unbelievable players. Our level needs to be very, very high to be champions again. And that's the level that we want to reach again.”
“It's a really, really bad season for us,” he said. “Something has to change next year. It's for the big bosses to decide. I have my opinion but definitely something needs to change when you don't perform at this level.”
I don't see it as much more than a call for the whole club to fight to get back to the top.
He, like most of us, is frustrated that we are not at the level we were. He will be frustrated with himself, and at the board for releasing his comrade, KDB.

Can you imagine Bernardo in the trenches? He'd be running up and down the trench rather than over the top towards the enemy's trenches.
100% not the manager100% But players or Manager?
Far worse has been said on this forum about our players and managers, for far less.PB you have really disappointed me. That remark is not what I would expect from you. Bernie has been a mainstay throughout all his time with us and continues to give 110% and more.
To be honest just for his cuppa in the line up for the wrong end of the East Lancs lot gives him enough kudos in the bag to last a lifetime without his stalwart efforts on the pitch.
Beneath you that remark. :-(
Based on what? Out of interest.100% not the manager
But if both I reckon, it must be tiring under Pep but equally frustrating we can all see it’s not working maybe the plays do as well and then there will be those loyal to Pep no matter what maybe this us the rift!Or they are physically and mentally drained from 4 full on seasons
Yes, true, although that itself has regrouped it too.Different context when it’s not divided up for click bait
Ah the "I told you so" nah nah ne nah nah jibe.Ruthless Pep got a bit mellow in his 50’s and showed a bit too much loyalty to some, it’s widely accepted & acknowledged. The problems have surfaced when that loyalty wasn’t repaid by certain players, some of it covered on this thread. What we’re seeing now is a reaction to that, Pep has the receipts but is still scrambling round to solve said issues, which won’t happen overnight. Pep also has his right hand men in the squad, one of whom fucked off mid season, the rest (we all know who they are) we should be backing 1000% to get us through this period, not turning on em, I genuinely think some people are revelling in what’s happening just to say I told you so….ridiculous
I'm not sure I agree with this point, I think Bernie is doing what he's told to do. Even in his best seasons for us (some of the greatest any player have ever given us) his "positive" stats are pretty meagre. Not his job.exactly and in my opinion Bernie is the top three players who didn't contribute positively to the games and still think they are the leaders (KDB and Gundo the other, but KDB and Gundo at least tried to play positively just the magic has gone). Bernie deliberately played passive football as if it is his special attribute.
Since the kitman left bluemoon has really dropped its standards.28 pages and nobody has linked it back to the kitman leaving…..standards have slipped on ere
I get totally where you are coming from. I hold @Prestwich_Blue in the highest regard, along with about half a dozen others, so I guess I am possibly being hard on him. I hope he understands. :-)Far worse has been said on this forum about our players and managers, for far less.
Some posters seem to be held to higher standards. Kind of like a few of us (myself included) seem to be doing with Bernardo.
I've felt similar on this thread tbf. Posters jumping on my back, for my reaction (potential overreaction) to it at the time. When far worse gets said about other players just as significant as bernardo, or our manager. Sometimes by the very posters jumping on my back!I get totally where you are coming from.
