Not his dynamic best but, as is always the case, you cannot question his commitment and endeavour.

I will say, that nonchalant takedown of the ball coming down from on high whilst sandwiches between two giants (and the resulting Kinky-esque run that won us one of the free kicks outside of Schalke’s box) was jaw dropping, though.

He was also my MOTM but I still think he is somewhat wasted out wide. He is performing at a level above KDB and Merlin at the min and I don’t think he should be pushed out wide to accommodate them.

D. Silva seems to be a bit better at the insightfull pass - B. Silva has a better shot and contributes much more on defense. Both are one-of-a-kind... irreplaceable per se.
