Great shout to go down the middle with his penalty. Clearly Kepa's had has give and he s going to fling himself all over the place

If you watch it back, you can tell he was originally going to that side and slightly changed his kicking motion at contact with the ball to put it down the middle, making it basically impossible for the penalty to be saved.

I loved his pen. Kepa had picked a side and moved early on every single pen and Bernardo had clearly picked up on this and was intelligent enough to just place it straight down the middle.

He was okay mostly yesterday but i felt the tactics of just smashing the ball wide to him time after time after time started to get predictable and that's where we fell short as a team as they were just doubling up on him and de Bruyne and David Silva weren't near each other enough in the centre of midfield to take the slack off him. Worked very hard again though.

This kid is genuinely world class.

Not seen a player who dribbles like he does since Messi. The ball just sticks to his feet. His close control is outrageous.

What is like best though is despite his technical excellence and the fact he’s 6 stone wet through, he’s a proper grafter and is hard as fuck.

Improved beyond all measure on last season. You could see he was gifted as fuck but wasn’t really ‘showing’ it. Didn’t really influence games for me.

He’s blown me away this season. He’s putting it all together now and is very very special.
