Bernardo Silva charged with misconduct by FA

For what it's worth, this would be my take on it and why, if they've received complaints, I can (just about) see why they've charged Bernardo with 'misconduct'. What I don't understand is the justification for charging him with an 'aggravated breach' which would imply that he's already been tried and found guilty of the lesser violation of misconduct before the FA had even charged him.

I knew as soon as he started speaking he was making the situation worse, intentional or not. The club can't just leave him out there on his own he needs someone helping him, or dealing with this shit, like Khaldoon, he is there to manage the football side.

If you cannot understand the wider implications of why a 'joke' that went badly wrong in public, was wrong, you need your heads testing!

Now, I support Bern and Mendy as a couple of mates having 'banter', but when you draw the rest of the world in on the 'joke', you're going attract unwanted attention where the 'joke' is concerned.

I fail to understand why the majority of you don't get that!!

Absolutely, my comment was in regard to somebody saying "using the word black to describe a person from Africa or the West Indies is really ok".
And then somebody else saying "if I was brown I would cherish that and not wish to be referred to as black'.
Just saying that both terms are acceptable.

Ah I see, agreed. Nothing wrong with either being used and for any other preference a polite "actually I refer to myself as ...." would be enough. No need for all this outrage.
