£50m for Ferran Torres is looking like he pulled their pants down and gave them a good smacking.I assume that is a rhetorical and not a serious question into Soriano's liking for giving his old club an easy run at our players.

All a question of money. Can Barca or Real get enough (from their 100% kosher revenue streams) and is there the interest to spend a lot of it (£85m +) on him.
Reading between the lines of his (respectful) statements and things that came out last year it is clear that he would be open to that move because of family and climate (which is absolutely his prerogative). But he is the type of player to understand and respect the fact that he has a minimum price tag, and won't down tools if the above scenarios do not pan out.
Barca fans would say otherwise hahaHow? He has started well in his first 6 months. In time it will loom a bargain. Not complaining, we got a fair enough fee.
