Bernardo Silva contract situation

Yes that's just made up bollocks isn't it

Imagine working for a firm that makes wheelbarrows and the plant manager looks at the sales receipts for a certain month and sees the foreman has been selling loads of wheelbarrows to his mates for a fraction of their MSRP.

That foreman isn't going to be in a job for long, so you are right, it's made up bollox.

I am not buying into any of this Bernardo crap. He would easily fetch over £100m now or he stays to become a legend. Just a reminder to fellow blues; have you seen some of the goals he has scored this season. He has a statue upon him if he chooses to take it himself.

All a question of money. Can Barca or Real get enough (from their 100% kosher revenue streams) and is there the interest to spend a lot of it (£85m +) on him.

Reading between the lines of his (respectful) statements and things that came out last year it is clear that he would be open to that move because of family and climate (which is absolutely his prerogative). But he is the type of player to understand and respect the fact that he has a minimum price tag, and won't down tools if the above scenarios do not pan out.

We are really lucky to get Bernardo Silva, not only he is a world class player but also a highly professional player that will not letdown his club that his employed with even with that circumstances.

Barca fans would say otherwise haha

Doubt that, but if they would, they'd be wrong.

He has contributed twice as much there in 4.5 months than Grealish has here on a whole season, for example. At half the price. Including helping getting them into the CL places which was crucial to them.

Saying we pulled their pants down is just pants.

He’s not wrong - Torres has not been a popular signing amongst most Barca fans.

Seems a ridiculous take to me, as on the face of it he’s contributed plenty to the team in his first five months to suggest he’ll be great for them.

But the spoilt bastards haven’t taken to him for some reason, and seem to view him as some sort of totem for their current mediocrity.

Barca are still a big draw to most European players no matter what state they are in financially and no matter how good City are and how well loved a player is at his current club. Nobody would want Bernie to leave but if he wants to go and Barca come up with an acceptable fee he will go. Pep has made it clear he won’t stop players leaving who don’t want to be here. Whether Barca can afford him is an entirely different matter. I’d say £75m plus would be enough to get him regardless of how it’s paid. It’s not what us the supporters value him at, and we could dig our heels in and make it difficult but if he was desperate to leave I think we’d try and get it done as efficiently as possible and start planning a replacement.

Barca fans are not happy with him lol. They Don’t rate him at all and are not happy that xavi plays him every single game without subbing him.
I personally think he’ll improve, but Barca fans hardly give their players any time

The Spanish press say there is a "Secret Agreement" with Pep (not that secret then) that he can go if we get €80m.
He's not going to Barca then.
More like £80m as well.

Even if there was an agreement between Pep and the player (bollocks), it's not the manager who signs off the finances. Anyway, it's typical bollocks coming from the continent again. He'll stay, probably sign a new big contract and win a few more cups.

They are used to Messi, Xavi and Iniesta. Yes they are very spoilt indeed.

They have no money, surely that is a massive problem when you want to sign one of the best midfield players in the world. It doesn't mean jack how big a club they are, no player will want to go there if they have to take a huge pay cut to play for them. Doesn't matter what they have done in the past.
