And likewise we`ve also had a black guy come on here and say its fucking banter and he in no is "upset" with what Bern has done.He said he was stupid but he certainly does not think it was racist.

So we've had one black guy saying what people on here want to hear and another black guy being told to shut up because he was saying something else. Got it.

I agree with all of that, but there's a concerning trend on this thread to just invent things or take them completely out of context to defend Bernardo.

No, Aguero being nicknamed Kun isn't racist because the comparison isn't "Aguero is Japanese so he looks like this racist depiction of a japanese person!". No it's not a private joke between friends if you share it with 600,000 people. No, it's not comparable to likening De Bruyne to tin tin.

Where has the common sense gone? Why can people not see how comparing a guy to a racist cartoon depiction of a Congolese savage could be interpreted as racist even if Bernardo did it accidentally with no malice?
I find your post both ironic and appropriate as, in my opinion, it clearly illustrates the farcical nature of the politics surrounding politically correct language. You appear to view Bernardo’s post as racist yet you use racist language “savage” in your argument. I’m sure both you and Bernardo would be bemused by any outrage which resulted from such unintended action.
