I seriously believe people have become so sensitised by society today that they take offence very easily.
You don't think using the word "chinky" as a punchline isn't racist?
Not for me it isn't, but I can go back (as many on here can) to when all races used to take the piss out of each other, and it was a much more stable world than it is today
it would be interesting to see what everyone's perception of this would be if it was a united player that had tweeted it about Pogba.
I think it leaves it too open to attack by those determined to find a malevolence in everything. I do agree with Hammo99 to some extent, but then we get into balancing freedom of speech against how he should have known some would choose to perceive it.Nail on head for me
I agree, but its just how the world is mate, this country is very diverse. People have the right to be offended by what they truly feel offended by.I seriously believe people have become so sensitised by society today that they take offence very easily.
This is where i have a problem, black people have reclaimed the word, they use it all the time so why is there a problem using it,racisim is about the intent you use words not necessarily the word itself,i have reclaimed the word ****,it no longer offends me,unless someone screams fuck off you **** in my face i don't consider it an offensive wordSeriously. you have to use that word?
