Surely that would warrant us looking to the market for another midfielder. They have said previously if a big injury happened or something unexpected it may mean they look to get a replacement. I'd imagine a shoulder operation would be min3 months before he's able to play again without risk

It is one way- there is a lack of respect definitely. In between laportes comments a few months back to Xavi in the interview yesterday saying it's up to City re: bernardo, but he really likes him. I think it shows a lack of respect to put that into the public domain and build the pressure around the situation and most probably mess with bernardos head

100% agree. I adore bernardo- but, this thing is dragging on and can't be healthy for anyone. It also just delays the inevitable to next year. The dejong deal just looks like an easy one to make. Give us de jong and a bit of cash maybe 20m.
