Strange thing to say by Pep. Doubt he’d be saying this if it was any other club but Barca. Can’t imagine Sorriano is best pleased after he explained the clubs stance just hours before

I presume he's not entirely happy having to talk about it frequently but surely he'll have had the conversation with Soriano et al where they would have put a united front out.
 
Either stump up the cash or fuck off, but if he goes and we dont get a replacement then the board need shooting, I like the look of FDJ last night I’d take him plus £60 million for Silva.

I think most of us are at that stage, but he would be a huge loss, we already look weak in terms of our squad and to lose arguably our best player is suicidal this late in the window.

Slightly confused with our direction in the market with Pep's latest interview about his future.

Are we building up a war chest of cash for the next coach?

I dont think we can replace Bernardo with one player. He covered several positions. RW and MC will do the job. We can‘t get them until end of the window.
But
It would not be the first time we started the season without proper replacement.

Foden, Grealish
Mahrez, Bernardo?
KdB, Palmer
Gundo, Bernardo?
Rodri, Kalvin

Bernardo is a unique player, incredible technically, intelligence, the ability to play in so many positions, incredible work rate, injury free and zero maintance off the field.
 
I kind of wish Barca still had Bartomeu or Rosell as big boss, have a feeling we would not be anywhere near as friendly with them.

Very possibly mate but we surely aren’t that naive to take our eye off the ball for this season?? The squad is light imo and what started off in hugely impressive fashion with Haaland and then Phillips has been overshadowed by this Bernardo bollocks going on as well as being imo another full back light and a wide player
 
No amount they offer now should be accepted, it's far too late in the day.

The only circumstance would be de Jong thrown in as a sweetener. Failing that, Bernie is going to have to swallow his pride and give us one more year. We can ill-afford to lose a player of his calibre.

It was an incredible start to the window but it's all gone a bit Pete Tong.

The LB area is still not right for me, Walker is starting to be concern and the injuries to Phillips are an issue if they continue and he does have history in that department.

Yeah we need another full back imo and are now down to stones and Dias for the next few weeks at CB? If Bernardo goes he needs replaced and a wide man would have been preferable as well.

it was a strange game to throw Stones into on sunday as well and leave Dias out? Lets be honest as well, Stones gets injury problems throughout the season so the club should at least be looking at possibly a loan signing in the CB area? The whole Rodri or Phillips can cover there is nonsense as anyone can play there but shouldnt have to? Plus, we dont know how bad Phillips shoulder injury is either?
 
You can still see this thing happening, looks way too cosy between the clubs for me.

Talk of a dislocation and he had issues at Leeds with it.

IF it is a dislocation and it keeps popping out , he will have to have an op
