The longer FDJ holds out then Berny isn't going to Spain imo

If PSG moved then we get the £80m we want simple as that

City have to say to Berny its now or never we can't move on like this

I would love 1 more season then call it quits with him

Barca could have a better chance in 2023?
Issue is where does it end? We all said “I’d love just one more season” last summer, guess what, we had one more season. I don’t want him to go but this is getting daft now, I’d respect Bernardo more if he came out and said he loves the club, the fans etc but needs to move to Spain or hotter climates for his metal health and family.
All this vailed answering of questions from everyone is just dragging the process out. City need to publicly state that Barça need to put up or shut up and it’s payment in full. I’d even bring up their attempts to get us bans, fines and chucked out the CL etc. maybe throw in the Messi debacle too for good measure. Someone needs to call them out publicly or they’ll never change.

This makes a lot of sense too..No way Bernie was available for 50m euros, and instead they went for raphinha with that money.

this club will regret selling Bernardo even for 80m .. the workrate .. the km's ran are just irreplacable ..

Paqueta cant replace him .. Bernardo drops deep to give KDB more freedom to go forward .. hes just serving his game and letting him shine more .. Paqueta will not be able to do that ..

So Pep will change the style of play ..

I think selling Bernardo will result in more goals conceided and more defensive work for KDB ..

if I was Txiki I'd give him a payrise a new contract and anything he wants to stay

you will not appreciate what you have until you lose it!

I’m 100% sure they will and will know it, but what do you want them to do? He was promised he could leave, he wants to leave so time to sell up sadly. Cash in while we can.

So, what do you suggest? Keep a player who would rather leave? Pep's philosophy has consistently been that if a player wants to leave, and it is in the club's best interest, then he won't stand in the player's way.

If barca pay 80 million pound we should sell Bernardo, imo.. it's a no brainer even more so since he wants to leave

its not Peps philosophy, Its Khaldoon's .. I want them to be more pragmatic and do anything in their power to keep him ..

this open door policy is just naive and no club on Europe has it .. When a player thinks of leaving you just convince them to stay .. examples: Mbappe .. Harry Kane .. ect

you dont easily let a player like Bernardo leave like that

Contradicts @tolmie's hairdoo stating our price was 80 million euros not pounds.

Jack Gaughan doesn’t miss and is briefed directly by the club.
Kind of explained why right there… TH is given info whereas Jack is fed directly. €80m or £80m is not really worth picking at, it’s £7.2m difference when converted give or take.
