Last season's Fernandinho? Better than Phillips? Are you joking? I loved the guy but he should have gone during the summer of 2021.

Given that neither were going to play many games due to Rodri being the undisputed first choice, I would've rather we just kept Fernandinho for one more year than sign an injury prone Phillips to be honest. I think he could've still done a job and his presence in the dressing room was invaluable.

I would take that every season!

Yeah me too and it was another fantastic end of the season come back to win the league I feel though we were on the edge injury wise..
