We also can't keep letting people leave for free, we all hate FFP but it needs to be balanced out, I don't want him too leave but not sure I want him to stick about for two years and then leave for free either.

If we could somehow persuade him to stay, it'd be the signing of our summer window. Do it Bernie, sign on the dotted line. Fuck the weather, Lisbon is less than 3 hrs away.
This would be huge, if he signs a new contract it puts us in such a better position for next year.
