very bad news if we lose him....

without doubt weakens us and we would need two attack minded players before the window shuts.....the young lads (McAtee, Bobb and Palmer) are decent but arent ready as long term replacements and nowhere near the level of the two players either have lost or could lose......Especially Beranrdo....irreplaceable like for like but we would definitely have to replace him in some form.

The one thing I dont quite get with us is that we dont value our players higher...I get the whole allowing them to leave if they dont want to be here bit...completely understand that and support that but at least plae a value that is realistic.....Benardo even with two years left on his contract is a 80m plus player (and possibly higher)..he is vastly superior to the likes of Rice etc (even with his English tax)....

Put a proper value on him and if no one meets it then fair enough, he goes on a free in 2 years time.....keeping him here for another 2 seasons is worth way more than 80m to us surely.....epecilly if you factor in paying mst of that back out for an inferior player
