Bernardo Silva

I understand Bernardo never warmed up to Manchester and he wants to stay close to his family but his insistence on Barcelona baffles me.

I just read that Athletic article about how they may threaten to sue De Jong because of the extension he signed with the previous president.

What a scum of a club and does Bernardo really does not like England this much to join that Clown of a club. Munich Madrid Milan heck Even PSG would make sense right now, but insistence on dedicated your prime into that shithole of a club right now is pretty weird.

Players dont see the world like fans do. Players are queueing up to sign for them for the lifestyle and playing for one of the most iconic, if not most iconic club, in the world.

Although there are wage disputes most of them are still earning huge money to ply their trade.

No actually it frees the wage bill and allows them to register new players. With the money from fdj sell they can buy another player. Who the fuck knows what's going on with that scum of a club
It still won't be enough to sign Bernardo but it doesn't stop them trying.

If they manage to sell de Jong that money is mostly used for registering their new signings.
From my understanding, his wages is what is used to register new signings (they have more than enough money to sign Bernardo as it is, but not to register even the players that they've already bought whilst staying under the salary cap).

Laporta is probably lying but his last comment was their last signing is going to be Alonso

ya a few pictures posted of him wearing barca kit as a kid - so I can see that want to join a club he followed as a child

I think it is a detail often lost, and that doesn't really get clarified in reports or twitter claims.

As I understand it, from the numerous in depth articles during messigate, it is about wages, not money raised sales, up until the point they are excessively over the wage cap.

So they could get 200m for deyong. It doesnt mean they have 200m to reduce their gap to register players. Removing his wages, does. I could be wrong, but that is how I read La Liga rules last year.
