Best 11 since the takeover

There are some ridiculous things said on this forum and this has got to be up there with best of them.

I don't remember any of those teams beating City's doors down to get any players. Lescott played his part and certainly deserves to be included

Why would anyone put Boateng in their team?...If this is based on what they did for city during their stint here it has to be the most ridiculous inclusion ever

While with us he was a coward and a shithouse, dif player now altogether though.

Because he was signed by City after the takeover, the title of the thread is 'Best XI Since The Takeover', and he's currently considered one of the top centre halves in Europe. Granted he wasn't great at City but that was mainly because he was being managed by an idiot who inexplicably felt that Lescott would make a better partner for Vinny than Jerome would.
