Best and worst away day you’ve been on

Best League cup final 1970, went with my dad, first time at Wembley first time in London. And a great win.
Worse league cup final 1974, lost undeservedly, attacked by cockneys on the tube but Wolves were sound.
 
Best home game final main road derby 3-1
Neutral game 1-0 fa cup semi
Away game Wrexham 0-1 weikens header Boxing Day that was the game that turned our season around to get us to the play offs goes unnoticed the rest is history,
Foreign away game Porto a certain poster on here told me to taste the local dish of tripe stew .. Porto was my best city I’ve done watching us.

I was at both as a little nipper with Dad. Blubbering like a Jessie after losing to Wolves.

Well they aren't away games in the strict sense of the word , but they ARE games that weren't played on our home ground,, and that we had to travel to ... they were away CUP days!

QPR away about 93-94ish. Beat them with 9 men. Paul walsh scored the winner at our end if I remember rightly (had been on the piss with the Heywood blues since about 7am that day). York away will always be a shit stain on my blue soul. Shalke away was my fav overseas game
 
Best United away we are impeccable.
Worst (if Wigan Cup final isn't counting) would be Brighton away in that shite old ground of theirs and losing on pens.
