oops, didn't read the thread title properly...don't remember Royle managing us at Eastlands.

Bit of an odd choice but I really liked the atmosphere at home, midweek vs West Brom in 2012. We were in control in our game, and the rags were playing at the same time vs Wigan and it came through Wigan were 1 up. We’d gone from pretty much writing the title off a few days earlier vs Arsenal to thinking we’re back in this! You sensed that in the crowd.
We won our game 4-0 and the rags lost 1-0 to close the gap to 5 I think it was, and also meant out goal difference much improved.
The rest as they say is history.
