thanks it’s coming back to me now - also the first City game I took my 4 year old son to and him being shit scared of the Hamburg fans on the walk up who were pretty loud that night if I recall

I felt they played a big part in the atmosphere that night. As others have said, it was a perfect storm, and the Hamburg fans set the tone. Getting the goal back, chasing the game, Elano out of this world; probably the biggest applause at the end of a game for a losing team I've ever heard. Great night.
