Absolutely. Probably my favourite chippy in the Manchester area, my fiancee used to live on Palatine Road and we'd go there if we couldn't be arsed cooking. Very nice portions, and doesn't cost the earth. What else could you ask for, chippywise?

Brian's "The English Chippy" in Ravensbury Street, Clayton at the back of the Velodrome. Massive fish and sometimes if he thinks he's given you a small one, he'll chuck another fish on as well. Top bloke. He's curry's gorgeous too.

The Chip Shop on Hornby Street. BL9.£2.20 for any pie or puds,chips+gravy open every dinner most evenings,fri+sat evenings.
And if you want a good Breakfast the BEST is H's on Wash Lane,Bury.BL9.They do dinners as well.But there's a down side to going the owners a SCUM but he's a decent one.
