Best gig you've ever been to?

Napalm Death at Camden Underworld last December was insane. The passion on stage from 4 older Blokes and a sold out venue of hardcore nutters was something else. Before that, it's been Crystal Castles at Brixton Academy or Doves at Castlefield on New Years Eve.

It can't have been mate

The Pulse gig was on channel 4 a few weeks (or months?) after I had been to Earl's court. I always remember as I lent a mate a copy of it which had my Floyd ticket in, and he returned it without the ticket saying he had lost it.. thieving git :(

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.brain-damage.co.uk/concerts/pink-floyd-1994-earls-court-seating-collapse-report.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.brain-damage.co.uk/concerts/ ... eport.html</a>

Honestly - haven't you two heard of Google ;-)

I was there just after the collapse too - went with a few friends of a friend. One said he'd been to London before and had an idea where it was - turns out he'd been to Chelsea once andthen said he didn't realise how big London was. The driver said it was ok as he had a map. That was a single page of an out of date road atlas that covered the whole of London. Ended up parking at a tube station car park and it costing us something like £18 twenty years ago.

That's the site I clicked too.. eventually :)

£18 sounds about right, I think it was £3.50 for a 330ml Calsberg then..!

lol

yes 94. eldest was born in 95 youngest is 97. Hope to god they don't read this!!!

James with the Inspirals as support, sometime around 88/89 at Sheffield University lower refectory. Admission price 60p

KISS at the men arena last year, more so for the fact i have waited over 30 years to see them in the flesh. Fantastic show, obviously not in the their prime and only two of the original members but even so it was well worth the wait.

The Verve at Slane Castle in '98. One of the best days of my life.

Nick McCabe had walked out a couple of weeks earlier, iirc.
A guy called B.J. Cole played instead, a pedal steel guitartist, and the gig was phenomenal.

Manics and James were among the support acts.

Even robbie williams didn't spoil the day for me.
