All have/had their faults. I’m not a fan of any to be honest. If I had to pick one I would choose Clichy.

Defensively Clichy, but Kolarov was more all-round and contributed more to our success imo.
As the poll is showingA combination of the best bits of Clichy and the best bits of Kolarov would make a great LB
They had differing strengths and weaknesses, personally find it quite hard to split them.
If you read that question and list in the cold light of day it sums it up the past decade / this millennium perfectly.

Mendy before his injury. He was superb, there were even comments on his performance thread that he would end the season with the most assists. The “hate” for him on this forum is ridiculous imo. When we bought him he was one of the best left backs in the world and I am hoping when his body is finally right he will get somewhere near this level again
