Came across this recently. Never knew he had this in his locker too...Shouldn't be surprised though..
I’ve actually come round to the view that Everyday is even better the Firth.Steve Hackett - Firth of Fifth.
Steve Hackett - Everyday
But is it an instrumental? ;-)Best instrumental by a rock band.
They really should put this concert out on DVD. It's one of these occasions, a kind of moment in time where all the stars and planets lined up perfectly to yield a magnificent performance. No sound quality issues, and you can just about hear a pin drop when Hendrix pauses. The audience is rapt. Of course, they didnt even clap at the end of the long guitar solo, they just looked entranced, he'd just taken them somewhere away from the humdrm of everyday life haha. I wouldve been too.Good man Bill.Just wonderful,I watch this whenever I get ideas above my station as to how competent I am.
Also, the Albert Hall version of Little Wing, one of the most emotional things he ever did.
Loved him then, love him and miss him now.
Thanks mate.
As fantastic as La Villa is (and it IS fantastic), I give you this, even with Stuermer doing Hackett stuff
