Best music you've seen live

Smashing Pumpkins at the Aragon in Chicago, late 90s

The Cure at the Fimore in San Francisco, late 90s

Best ever all round musical experience was the Isle of Wight festival in 1970, 5 days of brilliant music plus the weather was great.

Best individual concert was Traffic at the Student's Union on Oxford Rd. This was the Spring of '71.

Not all concerts but best live musical experiences:

Turandot at La Fenice in Venice.

Don Giovanni at Stavovské divadlo in Prague.

Má vlast at Stavovské divadlo in Prague.

New Order, ACR and Happy Mondays at the G-MEX.

Any Genesis gig I've been to, particularly Roundhay in 87
Likewise Quo

An honourable mention Queen, Maine Road . Sat three rows behind Peter Swales.

I've mentioned this one before, but stood 20 foot away from Steve Hackett, watching him do the solo from Firth of Fifth, was almost religious experience (drops to knees, a la Wayne's World....we're not worthy, we're not worthy)

Would have liked to have seen them a lot earlier but the Rolling Stones @ MEN, was surprised there was seating on the main floor but had 2nd row, was good to not even look at the big screen all night and they are still a tight band after all the years on road.

Manics @MEN, was a great high energy gig, loved it.

For nights out it would have to be Oasis @ Lancashire Cricket Club, supported by Richard Ashcroft, brilliant night.

edit, why's my text different to others?

Roxy music at the kings hall Belle vue 1974 first & best loved it
I was at that one - lost my brolly during encore - think it was 'Do the Strand', got piss wet through on way home.
Was also there about a month later for The Faces, they were about two hours late on stage and the last buses to town home had gone by the end.
