Motorhead at the Apollo about 1980.
Saw Motorhead do a gig at the IOM TT around the same time , the music was deafening , like being in a hanger with Concorde on full afterburners !! They were with Girlschool ears were ringing for an hour or two afterwards !!

Bad Religion probably. For their age and extensive catalog, they still absolutely love what they do. One of the few bands I've seen that their main goal is connecting with their audience. Metal bands can be be druggy or lost in their music and new rock bands nowadays can sometimes be lackadaisical. Bad Religion is punk rock at its very best.

That's the one, matey. Very Impressive.

I went to Dublin with my brother and we met two beautiful English women who were over for it and I ended up at the concert with one of them. That was the start of a relationship that lasted 20 years on and off.

Saw Brooks a couple of times (Birmingham & Sheffield); both were excellent gigs. At one, Garth gave his guitar away to a young girl in the audience, seemed to be a spontaneous gesture but helped stoke up an already highly enthusiastic crowd.

He's long overdue to play these shores another visit.
