As a young kid you see things through unbiased eyes.

Come the Easter break I took my mate from Uni who was Scottish but whose English team was Liverpool to Maine Rd to watch the return, we lost 5-0 though the referee had a shocker and gave them a penalty for a perfectly good tackle.

Think it was the 2nd time he played against us. First time, he was injured and was a bit underwhelming.

It was like watching a PlayStation game. Nutmegged Milner about 3 times. Think Pep was in the stands just shaking his head and marvelling at his ability.

Different game, but that performance from George fucking Courtney one year is up there with the most corrupt cunts i've ever witnessed.

As for us losing to Liverpool i remember one year going in the cup (quarters i think) and it was wet and muddy and Craig Johnson and John Barnes ripped us to shreds 4-0. I went into it so full of hope as a kid thinking Wembley was a stones throw away, we were lightyears away sadly.

I have seen lots of players do special things at various times and in various games against City. I have only ever seen one player completely dominate the whole flow of a game by his controlling presence, and that game was when we played Munich at home in Oct 2013 and the player was Bastian Schweinsteiger!

Yes, I know he eventually played for the Rags, and yes, I know he would not be anyone else's choice, but in that game he put in the most dominant performance I have ever seen by any single player v City. He was that good that when he was substituted late in the 2nd half, the whole ground applauded.
