ex-City player, Ian Scott, played against him a few times at primary school. We had Warren Hegg (ex England and Lancs wicketkeeper) in our team - he was fucking brilliant at every sport he played and a really sound, unassuming bloke too.

Played with Roger Palmer at school and against a lad from Burnage who scored a hat trick for England schoolboys at Wembley, Peter Coyne. He was on Man U's books and, needless to say got a bloody good kicking off everyone he played against. Also played with a guy, Ian Barwell, who'd played at Burnley and with Rodney Marsh at Tampa Bay Rowdies.

Nasty that bozzie :-)Peter was a great lad and the press really fucked him over,he also married into a massive (sorry)blue family.
