If you said "best forward" or "most skillful striker" it would probably be Henry. Being specific as striker though it has to be Aguero. Shearer and to an extent Henry also played a chunk of their footy when the opposition were not so refined tactically. Aguero did it when a lot of teams had kicked on a hell of a alot from defenders having the remit of boot the ball and striker into row z.

Henry had much more to his game than Sergio and peak Shearer did before losing yards of pace after a bad injury at 27. Love Sergio to bits but peak Henry is the best player I’ve ever seen in the Premier League.
Henry might have arguably been a better player but Sergio was a better striker which was the OP's question.

If he renews his contract and stays a few more years it’ll be Salah in most peoples eyes.
Henry for me though (just) over Sergio.

Don’t care what the numbers say, Aguero is hands down the best. He’s done it in an era where he faced world class defenders in probably 40% of his games, plus had champions league in every season he played. Shearer didn’t have that, and whilst he did have a couple of bad injuries, he only ever had the prem to focus on. Plenty of rest between games.

Henry can get to fuck.
