As much as I want to lie to myself by saying Aguero, I know deep down it’s Henry. He is probably the greatest Premier League player ever.

I've seen too much cheating from Henry both for France & Arsenal.... not that Shearer was an angel Neil Lennon's head probably still hurts.

remember it’s Premier league only.

Henry played 7 full seasons (30 games or more) and scored 17 or more in each one, his highest being 30. His 8th and last season he only played 17 and still scored 10 keeping his goals to games ratio consistent throughout his premier league career and he never played less than 30 league games in any season other than his last. 254 apps 174 goals.

Sergio played 6 full seasons (30 games or more). His lowest tally was 12 his highest 26. He had 3 seasons with 24,25,26 games scoring an average of 18 in each of the three seasons and of course his last season at 4 goals. 275 apps 184 goals

Sergio is the premier leagues highest scoring foreign striker ever. However, he was involved in 2 seasons more than Henry. Playing full Seasons (30 games or more 6/10 times. Henry 7/8.

Henry scored 10 career league goals less than Aguero. however, Henry played 21 games less. Had Henry played the 21 games I’d hypothesise, based on his consistent numbers he would have levelled Aguero’s overall tally at the very least in 1 3/4 seasons less.

The best imo, especially when you look at averages over such a sustained period... I’m fucking glad that he turned down whiskey nose twice as the set they had, with the piss cans use of wingers, he’d of won him another 2/3 European cups (at least)....

Kun is a more beautiful choice as he scored all types of goals, important to boot, however, this was in a number of incredible teams, shearer literally did this in some right shit shows (his own fault granted)..

Henry also can’t be discounted, he would of been incredible in this city team, with a potential goal output unparalleled!

I am not saying Sergio was, or was not the best. But given the amount of chances we make it is clearly easier to score for us than, for example Newcastle half the time Shearer was there (I personally think Aguero may be better but my point is - if Norwich has a 20 goal striker this season and we had a 25 goal striker - who has done better???)

You could adopt that approach to Drogba, Van Nistleroy, Fowler, Owen, Kane, Rooney or Henry, many played in Clubs at the top of league, but none of those players have a mins per goal ratio as good as Aguero.
